Mother Root

In spring 2024 I worked with Mother Root, a non-alcoholic drinks brand, on a full rebrand campaign focused on storytelling, mood, and the ritual of winding down. We spent four days in a beautiful countryside house in Yorkshire, building the creative around that golden 6pm moment - when the day starts to slow down and a complex, well-made drink becomes part of the routine. The aim was to reflect the richness of the Mother Root drinking experience while grounding it in warmth, calm, and modern living.

The team were a dream to work with, with a food stylist and a great vibe on set for both days. 

I was responsible for all video pre-production, directing on set, editing, sound design, and colour grading. The project delivered a full suite of content for their new website and social launch, including:

  • Hero brand film

  • A series of recipe cutdowns

  • Website background loops

  • Stills for digital use and social teasers
